Chadar Trek in November

Chadar Trek in November

Summer is Ladakh's busiest tourist season, and it's also the best time to go hiking. The benefits of both the hot and low seasons are combined in the shoulder months (April and October-November). The temperature is still pleasant (between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius throughout the day) and there are less tourists, so you can see the major cultural and natural attractions without being surrounded by crowds. During the winter season, the elusive snow leopard comes down to the valley in search of food and mating partners, which has its own set of attractions and beauty. You might be able to spot the elusive snow leopard on a hike along the icy Zanskar river.

The ascent will take place in temperatures ranging from -5 to -20 degrees Celsius, with steep cliffs and perilous parts of the Zanskar River to contend with. While this trip will provide many difficult challenges that will drive you to doubt yourself, you will have all the answers once you have observed and become a part of the Himalayas. And believe us when we say that this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance.
