The Har ki Doon valley is located in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district. Har ki Doon's nearest roadhead is Taluka village.

Har Ki Dun, which translates to "Valley of Gods," is a cradle-shaped valley in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, located deep within Govind Pashu National Park. The park is located in north-eastern Uttarakhand, bordering Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur to the north. Doon schoolmaster Jack Gibson, who led several expeditions to the Banderpunch mountains from here with Edmund Hillary, helped popularise the valley.
