Triund Hill

Triund Hill

The Triund Hills are also known as the crown jewel of Dharamshala. It is situated in the heart of the Dhauladhar mountains and offers a stunning view. Triund is a well-known trekking destination in India, drawing a large number of visitors.

You can either take a taxi from Mcleod Ganj to Galu or start your trek from Mcleod Ganj. You can hire a horse/pony to take you to the top if you don't want to hike a long distance.

Highlights: The trek's path is lined with a beautiful forest of oak, deodar, and rhododendron, which is visually stunning and provides a pleasant journey through the hills.

Because the area is too close for trekking in January and February, the best months to visit are March through May and September through December.
