Triund Trek Length

Triund Trek Length

The Triund Trek, also known as one of the simplest Himalayan treks, is about 10 kilometres long. Triund, a small hamlet at the foot of the majestic Dhauladhar mountain ranges, is located at an elevation of 2,828 metres.

It is also known as the heart of McLeodGanj and Dharamshala, the starting point for this trek. This short hike, which includes steep climbs as well as beautiful sweet-smelling rhododendron flowers and oak trees, is ideal for a weekend outing with friends and family. The trek begins in two places: Dharamkot and McLeod Ganj. The latter is the most commonly used starting point for the trek, and the distance between McLeodGanj and Triund is about 10 kilometres.
