BEST TIME TO VISIT HAR KI DOON

Kedarkantha is a year-round pilgrimage that can be done at any point during the year. Sure, when there's a lot of snow in January, you'll get the greatest vistas. The temperature in Kedarkantha rises in the months of March and April.

Har ki Doon is a summer walk that takes place only in the summertime. In December, it was buried beneath 5 feet of snow, prompting officials to close the gates. In March, the trekkers' gates reopen. It's a beautiful day for trekking and camping.

While the snow on Kedarkantha melts in March, Har ki Dun is one of the rare treks in March and April that has lots of snow.

Difficult ascents characterise the trail to Kedarkantha. You climb the mountains till you reach the top, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views. The trail is only a few hundred yards long, yet it is practically entirely uphill.

The paths in Har ki Dun lead you through valleys, woods, meadows, and small settlements. A walk along the Supin River is also an option. Every day is a wonderful surprise in terms of beauty and perspectives.

Fateh Parbat rises to 3556 metres above sea level and begins near Har ki Dun. The beautiful panoramas of Swargarohini, which lead the Pandavas to paradise, may be observed. Har ki Dun is a small glacier to the southeast of the massive Jaundar Glacier.
