Bhagsu To Triund Trek

Bhagsu To Triund Trek

The first 7 kilometres of the four-hour journey from McLeodganj to Bhagsu Village are the easiest. The final 3 kilometres from Bhagsu Village to Triund are particularly difficult. The final segment, dubbed "the 22 curves," is particularly challenging.

To begin this 10-kilometer journey, visitors must first go to McLeodganj, which is 8 kilometres from Dharamshala and serves as the trek's starting point. Cabs and Volvo buses run at regular intervals between Delhi and Chandigarh. The two-day journey takes you through the Bhagsu Waterfall, Laka Glacier, and Gallu Devi Temple, among other amazing places.

A day hike is a reasonable alternative, but one word of caution should be kept in mind. The entire trek could take up to 12 hours back and forth if you don't want to spend the night staring at the stars. Personally, I would recommend stargazing in the evening. It stands out like a wonderful work of art brimming with sheer vigour.
