Brahmatal Trek Summit

Brahmatal Trek Summit

Brahmatal, in Uttarakhand's interior, is one of the most popular and beautiful Himalayan climbs. It is a fantastic choice for even new hikers due to its accessible trails and different viewpoints. This location's glacial lakes, oak and rhododendron forest, vast meadows, and a closer view of the majestic peaks Nandaghunti and Trishul 1 & 2 from the summit are all alluring aspects. Other peaks visible from here are the Hathi-Goda Peak and Bethartoli.

The Brahmatal walk starts in Lohajung, a tiny village at 2300 metres above sea level. You'll walk at least 5 kilometres every day.

On the first day, you'll climb from Lohajung to the Gujrani campsite. The trail's first three kilometres are a simple walk on well-kept trails. Begam mountain, a little open place, is reached after 3 kilometres.

The entire Lohajung Village may be seen from this vantage point. Until you reach Begum Top, the trail is littered with little Dhabas.

From Begum Top, the trek will take you through oak and rhododendron woodlands. The Gujrani Campsite is 2 kilometres away (2750 metres). The trail is rather flat and passes through beautiful oak and rhododendron trees.
