The walk begins with a journey from Rishikesh to Joshimath, Uttarakhand's most famous location. For those travelling to Auli, Joshimath is the starting place. Joshimath boasts a magnificent view of the Himalayas and appears to be surrounded by mountains.

The Kuari Pass trip is for you if you have never done a journey before and want to experience the beautiful Himalayas up close. Kuari means "doorway" in the original tongue. It is one of the most picturesque hikes in the Himalayas, and beginners seeking a taste of adventure flock to it.

The trail leading out of the lake is still dominated by oak and rhododendron trees. Through the forests, you'll get glimpses of Mt Trishul from here on out. Talindi Top, a large meadow with amazing views of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti, among other peaks, emerges from the woods fast. The rise continues beyond this point until you reach Jhandi Top, which has superior vistas than Talindi Top.
