Sandakphu Best Season

It's a walk that can be done at any time of year, with vistas that change with the seasons. Rhododendrons, for example, can be found all along the trail in the autumn. The best time to visit is between October and December, when there is a 90% chance that the sky will be clear and travellers will be able to see all of the peaks.

The Sandakphu trek captures nature's raw elemental splendour. As part of the Singalila range, which runs between India and Nepal, the path passes through some of the country's most biodiverse temperate woods. Sandakphu, the highest peak in the Singalila range, offers a panoramic view of four of the world's five highest peaks: Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, and Lhotse, all of which are covered in snow.
