Harki doon

Thanks to the abundance of sunshine and bright skies, your campground will be situated beneath stunning skies, with stars twinkling beyond the horizon. On the horizon, you'll be able to see the spectacular snow-covered peaks. The splendour that awaits you in the mountains will steal your breath away if you plan your journey around a full moon night.

The sacred bhojpatra and rare brahma kamal, as well as the dense pine forest and bhojpatra, adorn the divine region, revitalising trekkers. The long trekking trip to Har ki Doon is straightforward and comfortable, thanks to the quiet surroundings and stunning Himalayan views. Trekkers have plenty of opportunities to be alone in nature and forget about their problems.

Yudhisthira, the first of the Pandava brothers and known for his honesty, is reported to have gone to heaven with his dog from Har ki Doon valley on Sworgarohini peak.

Har ki Doon means "Valley of the Gods" in English. Legend has it that this was the valley where gods and goddesses wandered freely. The deep pine forest, bhojpatra, brahma kamal, and other flora add to the trek's flavour and give the idea that the gods and goddesses must have wandered through the hanging valley's natural splendour.
